Marie Janelle

Hello!

I'm Marie Janelle, the founder and CEO of Moms Who SOAR, LLC ...

a place where Moms learn to SOAR in their motherhood journey above anxiety, stress, self-doubt, loneliness and depression.  I coach motivated Moms on how to nurture their little one's social and emotional health, for an elevated start in life ... by building their Mom-Toolkit.

And as a result, my client's mindset begins to S.O.A.R. 🦋! …

MOMS EXPERIENCE ...

Self-confidence that replaces doubt.

Organizational skills that reduces stress & anxiety.

Attachment with Moms to replace loneliness.

Resilient mindset to overcome life's challenges.

See, I can definitely relate to being a Mom who has a wide range of emotions ...  excitement, stress, anxiety, loneliness,  depression.  I married young and by my 28th birthday, I had four children under the age of 6 yrs old ... and boy was I uncertain about my mothering skills.

Fast-forward to the present, I have worked in the early childhood education and mental wellness field for over 25 years in various settings, including Montego Bay, Jamaica.  I earned my master’s degree in Community Counseling, a bachelor's in Psychology and my associates in Early Childhood Education.

I published my first children's book, I Love School!  in 2019 (click here to purchase), based on my preschool experience as a Head Start Alumni.

In 2021, I published my second children's book, Benjamin's Backyard, which follows a six-year-old boy, as he learns personal responsibility and forgiveness (click here to purchase).

Also, my children are now adults and are well-adjusted, successful  individuals with great relationships. I am so proud of them!  Collectively my children have attended 8 (eight) universities ... and have obtained a J.D. law degree from Harvard University; masters degrees from Azusa Pacific University and from Parsons School of Design; and completed music courses at  Berklee College of Music in Boston.  They are serving their communities and making a positive impact in the lives of others.  Just to name a few impacts: serving as civil rights attorney, executive director of the citizens complaint authority,  teaching preschool in Uganda, executive director of a social justice agency, working with at-risk youth in afterschool programs, giving guitar and vocal lessons to young children.

So through my successes and mistakes, I learned a lot of great tips and strategies ...

that I would love to share those with you!

Let's SOAR high together!

~MJ
